On the 23rd of May (Saturday), the Diversity Council provided the training and orientation program for the Changemakers selected to disseminate diversity values in the student body. The program was attended by 14 Changemaker students, three facilitator professors and four coucinl members.
Taking strict preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19, such as temperature screening and keeping social distance, students introduced themselves after the chairperson of the Council, Young Min, gave a welcome speech. Lecures were delivered in the order of △ What is Diversity and Why is it Important? (Young Min, Chair of the Diversity Council), △ The Meaning and Values of Changemakers (Hye-young Lee, CEO of Ashoka Korea), △ Growth is Accepting the Differences (Sun W. Park, Professor of Department of Psychology at Korea University), △ What's Problem Solving? (Jeehyeong Khim, Professor from Department of Civil, Environmental & Architectural Engineering at Korea University). The orientation on the details of the Changemakers program was provided afterwards, and each team had a meeting with its facilitator.
