On Saturday, June 26, the Diversity Council had the second education program for Changemakers selected to promote the value of diversity in the student society. Fourteen Changemaker students in 2021, two Changemaker students in 2020, coaching faculty and members of the Diversity Council attended this program.
Following the Disinfection Guidelines to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 with body temperature checks and safe distancing, Kyung-Min Kim, a representative of Changemaker students in 2021, hosted the event. First, the first-term Changemakers made a presentation about their activities and had a Q&A session with the second-term Changemakers.
After that, there was a diversity education program under the theme 'Communicating with Diversity'. It consisted of the following three programs. ① Diversity and Me – Lecture(Professor Ji-Sun Jeong) ② Effects of Culture on the Life – Participatory Activity(Professor Ji-Sun Jeong) ③ Communication and Sympathy - Dialogue & Lecture(Professor Ji-Sun Jeong x Professor Bo-Ra Lee)
The last part of the 2021 Changemakers 2nd Education Program was each team’s meeting and presentation of discussion results about diversity reading, which was given as a preparatory assignment.
