The 2019 Photo Exhibition, hosted by the Diversity Council, was held on November 21, 2019 at the Open Library located at the Centennial memorial Samsung Hall. A total of 49 students entered the Diversity Photo exhibition contest representing their own perspectives and beautiful depictions of diversity. The spectators were able to observe photographs that captured moments where ‘difference’ and ‘disparity’ were being respected and embraced in our daily lives. Through the pictures, people enjoyed the pleasure of discovering the value of diversity. Submissions for the first round of the photo contest was from November 1 to 14 and a total of 112 people submitted their works for the contest. Through a fair and impartial evaluation by the specialists, 25 works were selected and exhibited with a total of 175 spectators participating on the spot poll. The final six were chosen from the combination of the on-site spectator votes and the first-round evaluations made by the specialists.
