The 2019 Diversity Council’s second special lecture was held at the council’s office on August 23. Jung Ji Young, Vice President of MERCER (a consulting agency in the field of personnel organization) gave a lecture entitled “What is organizational culture?” and a total of eight council members participated in the lecture. The speaker introduced various examples and current trends of innovations in organizational culture experimented by major global companies, focusing on the so-called ‘Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)’ issues. The lecture provided a valuable opportunity for the council members to discuss what efforts are needed to secure diversity and inclusion across various aspects of an organization.
