On the 7th of July (Tuesday), the Facilitation
Workshop, organized by the Diversity Council, was held in Room 505 at Media
Hall, Korea University. The theme of the workshop was “Facilitation to promote learning”
and Young-Sook Lee, CEO of Aligned & Associates, an agency for the
organization development and leadership coaching, hosted the program from 10:30
a.m. to 6 p.m. The workshop consisted of modules in four stages: basic
understanding of facilitation, creative problem-solving processes and tools,
facilitation skills to promote learning and practice with feedback. Twelve
members of the Diversity Council participated in the entire workshop,
understanding the concept of facilitation and acquiring skills that can be used
in actual lectures and student guidance.
